Final Report NIASG Training;
Pakistan National Forum on Women Health in collaboration with TACMIL Health Project successfully completed the training sessions on management of PPH and the role of anti-shock garments in all four provinces as per our agreed schedule. 197 non-
pneumatic anti shock garments (NIASG) kits had distributed in 4 training sessions held at Karachi, Abboattabad,Multan & Quetta.
Master Trainers Briefing Session;
On 16 th November 2009 master trainer core team briefing session was held at PMA House Karachi. Six members attend this session and share their presentation with each other. Basically there are three main topics which will be taught in relation to NIAG training. The topics are
1) What is shoch, its types & PPH, SHOCK?
2) NIAGS Garments & how its can save the levies
3) Protocol for using this kit & Record keeping
Ass per suggestion from core team the strategy for training on hands it is decided that for on hands training the participants will be divided into small groups (not> 20 participants in a group) one master trainer will demonstrate the techniques how the kit is put on and the protocols for the removal of kit to the participants. The participants will also demonstrate the procedure to one another. Each group also completes the data form of NIAGS kit during this training.
